'HANDS ON' DEDICATION HELD DECEMBER 18
The dedication of Hands On was held Friday, December 18 at 6 p.m. at Sam Garcia Library on Western Avenue in Old Town Avondale, Arizona, in conjunction with the city of Avondale's first Art Walk.

"What fun!" Kevin says. Avondale Mayor Marie Lopez Rogers and Municipal Arts Committee President Michael Arangio both spoke as Hands On's hands gleamed in the background. "The tree looked amazing at night," Kevin adds. Thanks to everyone who showed up for the dedication - we appreciate you!

'HANDS ON' WINS WESTMARC'S 17th ANNUAL BEST OF THE WEST AWARDS Hands On, a public sculpture by Kevin Caron for the city of Avondale, Arizona
Kevin's public art sculpture Hands On has been selected as a winner of Westmarc's 17th Annual Best of the West Arts and Culture Award. He shares this year's honor with Rancho Santa Fe Elementary School students for their mosaic of Avondale.

"I am deeply honored by this award," Kevin says. "And I'm pleased to share this award with Rancho Santa Fe students, with whom I created the Bronco Brand Birch."... more...
