 Intrigued by new forms from found materials, Kevin takes a new stab with railroad spikes.

For this piece, he created straight "trains" of spikes, then heated and, as you can see, wove them together.

"I don't want it to look too controlled, but I do want it to flow," he explains.

This piece has a linseed oil finish, giving it a darker hue.
