Union Pacific Pine
steel
84" x 42" x 42"
created 2006
Grown in the remote reaches of northern Arizona, the Union Pacific Pine got its name because of its propensity for growing close to the railroad tracks that opened the West to civilization.
Today this rare variety is sometimes used in place of the traditional fir as a Christmas tree, but is also beautiful at any time of year, inside or out.
