Powder-coated Steel, Arizona Mesquite
23" x 20" x 5"
26 pounds
2006

Unlike Kevin's other work to date, Cribbage is less than 2 feet tall, making it perfect for a patio or sideboard. Perhaps influenced by the artist's time living in Japan, Cribbage has an Oriental feel and a particularly sweet sound. Cribbage’s name comes from the criss-crossed underpinnings of old bridges.

Its native mesquite base came from a tree near the artist's home. The bell, striker and base are all separate pieces that find perfect harmony together.
