Kevin wears a leather apron and half jacket, and dark glasses while operating the plasma cutter, which uses compressed air and flame to cut. He wears a heavy leather welding glove on his left hand, which rests on the metal to steady the cutter, and a lighter leather glove on his right hand, which guides it.
