"Your work is so creative. From the first piece I saw ... I have been a big fan. It will make us all proud that we will have one of your sculptures in the center of 'Old Avondale'."
--Beverly Moore, Member, Avondale, Arizona, Municipal Arts Committee
With the foundation in place, it's time to move the trunk from Kevin's studio to Avondale.
Kevin begins by raising the 600-pound steel trunk with a jack. He then put wooden braces under it to get it high enough to push two carts (one of which is shown here) under the tree.
Once on the carts, the tree was wheeled underneath a large lift so Kevin could raise the trunk high enough to slide his trailer underneath it.
