MARY WESTHEIMER - LOVELY ASSISTANT
 The little devil on Kevin's shoulder goes by many names, among them "Lovely Assistant," "Shop Wench," "The Living Clamp," "The Fire Whisperer," "Comic Relief," "The Muscles in This Operation," "Grinder Girl," "Magneta" and others less fit for popular consumption, nearly all of them self-proclaimed.She works on marketing materials including the Web site, as well as helping out in the shop - you can often find her with a grinder in her hand, safety glasses on her nose, and "Mickey Mouses" on her ears, concentrating on this ripple or that divot. Mary also dabbles in sculpture, painting and such. In fact, she owned two welders before she met Kevin, learning to weld from artist Agnese Udinotti. While she's the first to admit that Kevin is the real talent in the family, it doesn't stop Mary from playing around and making suggestions to Kevin about his work. He is often polite.
