What's a patina?
Traditionally, a patina is a coating formed on the surface of a metal or a sheen that, after much time and handling, forms on the surface of an old object. Artists often add patinas to objects to give them a certain look.
Kevin uses various patinas to enhance his work, including rust patinas.
The Patinas in question here, however, are people who like Kevin and his work - a fan club of sorts.
As Kevin's fans like to say, when it comes to Kevin and his work,
