RainHarp, A water feature by Kevin Caron
RAINHARP

Collection of Jim and Karen Onken
Phoenix, Arizona
Powder-coated steel
82" x 12" x 48"
175 pounds
2008

Shortly after purchase of their new home, the Onkens decided a fountain would enliven a small garden in the front of their home, which faces west.

Designed especially for the space, RainHarp fit perfectly, adding a tinkle of sound and a sparkle of light from the seven "strings" of water that fall from the top of her graceful arch into the small basin at the bottom.

When the landscaping is complete, the baseplate of the fountain will disappear entirely, leaving RainHarp balanced on her slender foot.
