DEDICATION OF BRONCO BRAND BIRCH
Below are photos of the May 15, 2007, dedication of the Bronco Brand Birch, a project of Rancho Santa Fe Elementary School in conjunction with artist-in-residence Kevin Caron.
After learning about how brands were used in the West, each student created a brand design. Each class then chose its favorite. Those designs were recreated by Kevin Caron in metal. He then hung them on a tree made of authentic railroad spikes.
