As Kevin says about his work, Skiball came out all of a piece, as did its name.

Certain materials jumped out at me and came together. Skiball casts beautiful shadows as the sun moves, lengthening and brightening as it shifts. People either love Skiball or hate it. Kevin is in the latter category, but he puts up with it, anyway.
