Stretch was the first fountain in a series fabricated from "found" steel fabric. Its beauty is both visual and aural, with the light and sound playing the panel sets differently. Stretch provides a welcome drink to hummingbirds, lizards and snakes who live in the area.
Light loves Stretch. It sketches on the panels and shifts as the sun sets. The plaid and pattern, with the water playing, is mesmerizing.
The sound adds more dimension: the straight section is babbling brook; the curved parts are rain off the roof.
Ah, Stretch.
