"We were struck by Steelhead the first time we saw it. Architecturally, visually and functionally, it fit beautifully in a very special place in our home and collection."

How to Create a Sculpture, Part 12: Grinding and Finish Work

With just a few panels left to weld on to the structure, Kevin is increasingly turning to finish work on his sculpture Wherever You Go, There You Are. Fortunately, he has been grinding his welds as he goes, but once the sculpture's superstructure, which is constructed of 16 gauge steel, is complete, there's still plenty of grinding, filling and shaping to do. In this free video, Kevin shows how to fill in divots, displays his grinding technique, and explains why he moves from section to section as he works on the sculpture.
