Kevin shows how using pulse control on his Longevity MigWeld 250P MIG welder helps him fill gaps in his steel sculpture Wherever You Go, There You Are without blowing holes in the metal because it gets too hot. The lower temperature lets him get a longer, cleaner weld. The ability to control the pulse width and frequency helps him get just the right temperature while increased wire feed helps fill the gap.

It's time to get out the Miller 251 MIG welder with the spool gun attachment for welding with aluminum. Kevin begins a new sculpture using his Longevity TigWeld 250AC/DC TIG welder to weld together a 1-inch hollow steel ball and a 1-inch round steel pipe. He adjusts the amps and pulse, tacks the pieces together, then welds them in place. He also shares a neat little trick to work with a piece just doesn't want to sit still.

Working with the landscape company Life's A Garden, Kevin explains and demonstrates the series of metal troughs he's welding together to create an aqueduct with waterfalls to funnel rainwater from a client's roof over their patio into their front yard, where it will soak back into the earth. When Kevin pours some water into the system, he proves it still, well, needs a little more welding, but it's all in the plan, really!
